The metal-work and sculpture of Paul Margetts

Footpath Waymarkers, Huntington, Staffordshire

The installation of the waymarkers is intended to encourage public health through a community walking scheme on the re-claimed slag mound of the closed Littleton Colliery

The images on the waymarkers represent significant features of the industrial, social and natural history of the area

The designs were developed with much assistance from the local community and the staff at South Staffordshire District Council. Each sign is 600mm x 600mm square with the images laser cut into the front 8mm plate and backed by another 8mm plate to avoid finger traps.
