Waymarker posts for Lansdown Battlefield

Commissioned by Bath and North East Somerset District Council

The aim of the commission was to produce a set of ten distinctive 'Battlefield Waymarkers' for key locations on the line of the Cotswold Way as it crosses the site of the Battle of Lansdown near Bath. The bloody Battle of Lansdown in 1643 was one of many fought during the English Civil War.

Each post is 2.7 metres high, forged and fabricated in mild steel and galvanised for weather protection.
